What is my plan?
You may be thinking, that finding your Passion and Paradise were fun or maybe even revealing but… (Here come the excuses)
They are just dreams.
They are way to far fetched.
There is no way I could ever be that great.
There is no way I could ever live there.
People would think I was crazy if I even attempted anything like that.
This is a pivotal point.
Now you can choose to let your dreams die and turn into lifeless daydreams of a life you wish you had. You can fall into the trap of believing your excuses, of believing the limited vision of those around you.
But what if you chose to chase those BIG dreams? What if you listened to the divine inspiration of your creator? What if this time you chose to believe in yourself?
When you choose to believe you IGNITE those dreams and begin the journey of an On Fire Life!
The first step in saying “YES” is to start the third P, Plan. This is where you start to make a road map for your future.
To help you plan I included 3 FREE PDF Worksheets. Print as many as you need. The goal worksheet can be used for short, midway, or long term goals.
As always go to a quiet place and say a prayer for wisdom and guidance. Then visualize the BEST you that we envisioned when we worked on Passion. Let’s take a closer took at his BEST version of you.
There are 5 KEY AREAS that we are going to take note of.
- What Kind of FAITH does this BEST version of you have?
- How healthy are the RELATIONSHIPS this BEST version of you has?
- What kind of FINANCES does this BEST version of you have?
- What is the PHYSICAL HEALTH of this BEST version of you?
- What kind of knowledge and confidence in SELF does the BEST version of you have?
Really take time to think hard about these 5 KEY AREAS because your answers to these questions will define your path.
Now answer these same questions about yourself today. Today what are your faith, relationships, finances, physical health, and self like?
To make the plan take where you are today, where you live and your answers to the 5 questions. This will be your starting point. Then take your Paradise and your answers to the 5 questions for the BEST you. This is your ending point. In between the two points create goals to get you from point A to point B. Try setting long term goals like 5 or 10 years, medium range goals like 3 years and shorter goals like 1 year, 6 months and this month.
Let me give you an example to help you out. Today I am 60 pounds overweight, rarely exercise and eat poorly. My vision of my BEST self is healthy, physically fit, at my ideal weight and feels good. Now to get from point A to point B, I know I need to lose 60 lbs, start exercising and eat healthy. So a 1 month goal might be to lose 5 pounds, cut out sodas and fast food, and start walking 3 times a week.
Now that you know your starting and end points start planning your road map of how to get there! Take your time doing this. When setting goals remember to make them S.M.A.R.T., Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Throughout the Blog section of On Fire Life I will be helping you walk through this process in detail as well as giving you motivation and freebies.
